Upcoming Events
“If you and your team are tired of over-curated environments and ready to get into a more reflective, creative headspace, I would highly recommend Casa Tilo. The hosts have decades of experience in hosting team retreats and this translates into a setting that facilitates authentic connection and a focus on what truly matters. Surrounded by lush greenery and birdsong, I loved being able to do early morning walks in the mountains before kicking off the days.”
Kate Beecroft -
Head of Governance at Centrifuge
“During our event I realized how much of a difference it makes, that we're in the middle of a natural park: participants would go on walks together on the daily and come back relaxed and with smiles on their faces; the different species of birds led us through the cycle of each day with their distinct songs; when stepping outside all one sees beyond the patio is forest and sky - in my experience this enabled our group to drop in with each other much quicker and deeper. It felt like the ecosystem around us was the primary space holder for our gathering.”
Jonas Groener -
Facilitator at Civic Action Network
“Casa Tilo is a beautiful place to hold retreats surrounded by nature and in good proximity to Barcelona. The hosts create an energy of welcoming and uplifting belonging that is rare.
All facilities like the salt water pool, common spaces and the bedrooms are all well taken care with attention to details”

About Us
.jpg)
Casa Tilo is hosted by Richard D. Bartlett and Natalia Lombardo.
We’ve spent over a decade supporting groups to collaborate more wisely in organisations, social movements, and communities across many countries. Our work draws on facilitation, organisational development, therapeutic practice, and long experience with self-organising groups.
We’ve learned that people grow best inside a small, well-held social context, where there is trust, care, and enough structure to support agency rather than replace it.
This is not just a house, it’s a home, for ourselves and for our wider network of interconnected communities: The Hum, Microsolidarity, Enspiral, TPOT, and the growing ecosystem of people experimenting with new ways of collaborating, living and growing together.
You are welcome here.

Casa Tilo is a beautiful villa in the middle of a natural park, where thoughtful people come together for facilitated retreats, shared living, and meaningful gatherings. It’s a place where connection, learning, and development happen through practice and shared life.
Many of the problems we’re facing in the world are not just technical or political, they’re relational. They’re in the ways we organise, the ways we lead, and the ways we treat ourselves and each other.
We believe that how we come together matters.
People come to Casa Tilo to spend time with others who care about their inner life, their relationships, and the work they’re doing in the world.
This is a place designed for people to slow down, reconnect, practice healthier ways of relating, and remember what becomes possible when you’re not doing everything alone.
Join us for a period of coliving and working with peers, join or host a residential training, or bring your organisation for a facilitated team retreat.
What all these experiences share is a high level of care: for the people, the process, and the place itself.
